Head coach of the Black Stars, Chris Hughton, has invited 23 players for Ghana’s upcoming friendly encounters against North American giants Mexico and the United States.
Making a return to the national team are England-based Thomas Partey and Tariq Lamptey. Both players missed the recent assignment of the team against Central African Republic.
Partey is expected to captain the team in the absence of Andre Dede Ayew who did not make the squad for the two games.
The Black Stars will lock horns with Mexico on Saturday, October 14 at the Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, North Carolina before playing as guests of the USMNT on Tuesday, October 17 at the Geodis Park in Nashville, Tennessee.
