Kudus all but confirms his move to the English Premiership

Ghana midfielder Mohammed Kudus has all but confirmed his anticipated move to English Premier League side West Ham after registering a thumping hattrick in Ajax’s 4-1 victory over Bulgarian side Ludogorets in the Europa League play-offs.

In a post-match interview, the Ghanaian described West Ham as a good club when asked his opinion about the English side. The East London club has emerged as the leading contender to sign the Ghanaian midfielder but according to Kudus, he has allowed his team to negotiate on his behalf as he continues playing for his current club.

“For me, it is one day at a time. I live in the present moment, and I am here now so my focus is to train and do my thing on the pitch until there is something on the table.

“There are talks going on so we will see if there is an agreement in the next days so we can take it up from there.

“I only have to do my job on the pitch and my team will take care of the rest of the business”, he added.

Asked if he had played his last game for Ajax, Kudus answered in the affirmative.

“Yes, I think so, but we will see what happens in the next few days because I don’t have control over everything, but we will see what happens in the next few days.

“I did my thing like I always do for the team to win, and I am glad that everyone was on top of their game, and we got the win”, the talented Ghanaian midfielder concluded.

Even though West Ham have been tipped to sign the midfielder, his performance against Ludogorets may catch the eyes of other Premier League clubs like Chelsea, Liverpool, and Arsenal.
