AFCON 2021 qualifiers: Ghana name squad to face Sudan

New Black Stars coach, C K Akonnor has named a twenty-three man squad to face Sudan in the upcoming African Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifiers.

Four players from the domestic league including Yahya Mohammed (Aduana Stars) Richard Attah (Hearts of Oak), Kwadwo Amoako (Ashgold) and Habib Mohammed (Asante Kotoko) were handed call ups to the senior national team.

Attah, Kwadwo Amoako, Tarique Fosu, Eugene Ansah will be making their debuts for the Senior National team.

Ghana will host Sudan in the first leg tie at the Cape Coast Stadium on March 27 before traveling for the return encounter in Omdurman on March 30.
