Harrison Afful's Columbus Crew to host Kwarasey's Portland Timbers in MLS Cup Final
Ghana's Harrison Afful and Adam Larsen Kwarasey will keep the flag of Ghana high in the 2015 MLS Cup Final next weekend.

Afful's Columbus Crew survived a last minute scare to defeat New Your Red Bulls 2-1 on aggregate to lift the Eastern Conference trophy. The Ghanaian right full back was in action for 75 minutes.

Goalkeeper Kwarasey played the entire duration when Portland Timbers earned their spot after knocking out FC Dallas in the Western Conference Championship with a 5-3 aggregate score.

The Eastern Conference champions, Columbus Crew will be presented with a home advantage when they host the Western Conference champion, Portland Timbers in a one off encounter on December 6 in the 2015 MLS Cup Final at MAPFRE Stadium.

Crew SC will be making their second-ever appearance in MLS Cup, after winning it in 2008, while the Timbers will be making their first appearance in the championship match.

This will be the second time MAPFRE Stadium has hosted MLS Cup. The San Jose Earthquakes defeated the LA Galaxy in the 2001 MLS Cup in Columbus.
