Black Satellites drawn alongside Morocco, Tanzania, and The Gambia in the 2021 U-20 AFCON
2020 WAFU Zone B champions Ghana have been paired with Tanzania, The Gambia, and Morocco in a tricky Group C of the 2021 Total Africa U-20 Cup of Nations.
The Black Satellites will begin their campaign against Tanzania, before taking on Morocco and The Gambia respectively.
Host Mauritania is in Group A with Cameroon, Mauritania, Uganda, and Mozambique.
Burkina Faso, Tunisia, Namibia, and the Central Africa Republic are in Group B.
The tournament, scheduled between Sunday, February 14 and Thursday, March 4, 2021, will see host Mauritania engage Cameroon in the opener at the Stade Municipal de Nouadibou on February 14.
Two cities of Nouakchott and Nouadhibou will host the tournament.
Nouakchott will host two groups at the Stade Olympique and Stade Cheikha Ould Boïdiya while matches in Nouadhibou will be played at Stade Municipal de Nouadhibou.
This is the first time the Total U20 Africa Cup of Nations has been expanded to 12 teams instead of the eight in previous tournaments.
